| A single parent traveling with minor children or minor children traveling alone must have additional documentation on all international flights. A parent traveling with minors (under 18) or a minor traveling alone, must carry notarized permission from both parents including non-traveling parent(s), or notarized copy of deceased parent's death certificate, or "sole custody" or "Father Unknown" documents.
At time of printing, Dominican Republic law requires that children under 18 on the day of departure traveling with an adult or guardian other than their parent, present a written, notarized authorization letter from the parent(s) giving consent for the minor to leave the country. In addition, a photo ID is required for anyone 14 years of age or older. |
